Born in Stogursey, Somerset, her book The Cider Apples of Somerset - A Somerset Pomona, is the first book on Somerset's cider apples to be published and breaks new ground by including colour photographs of all 80 varieties still grown orchards today
The Aeolian Harp Geoffrey Stinton, a contemporary sculptor based in Sussex, has long been recognised for pioneering monocoque structures using modern composites as the sculpting medium, enabling him to produce beautiful shell-shaped Aeolian harps which are weather resistant, unlike their wooden forerunners. His Aeolian harp is a highly imaginative and technologically advanced representation of an ancient instrument with a fascinating history.
